Turbodisc Technical Sheet
Versatile & Unique
The TURBODISC is the most powerful and economic range of tank washers in its class. Unique in design, it is ball bearing free and has only one moving part, a rotating disc which instantly converts the wash fluid into a sphere of fast moving droplets. Total surface cover is achieved as fast moving droplets simultaneously cover the entire surface of the tank, inlet pipe and point of entry where cont mination frequently occurs.
Applications
The TURBODISC range offers a wide choice of models in 316, 316L stainless steel and Hastelloy C22. They are suitable for cleaning small and medium size process vessels, reactors, driers, granulators, storage tanks, tablet coating machines and IBCs. Compact in design, effective in performance, they meet all the essential FDA requirements of hygiene and product purity. Used in food, beverage, biotech, pharmaceutical and other hygiene conscious industries their cost effective reliability is recognised worldwide and specified by end users, OEMs and contract design companies. TURBODISC tank washers are ideal for burst rinsing and can be placed into the tank at any angle.
Operation
Wash fluid entering the TURBODISC is directed onto the precision shaped disc. Hydraulic bearings allow the disc to rotate friction free at high speed and the wash fluid is distributed in a dense spray. Performance is instant, impact strong, coverage total. Turbodiscs are supported technically by the Breconcherry global technical network. TURBODISC tankwashers are ideal for burst rinsing and can be placed into the tank at any angle.

Clipdisc Tehnical Data
Versatile & Unique
The Clip-Disc is designed for use in ultra hygienic applications where product purity and elimination of contamination problems are essential. The simple easily disassembled construction meets all the needs of regulatory bodies, and means the unit is also very cost effective. The unique disc design gives instant and complete uniform coverage of all internal surfaces providing a quick aggressive wash.
Applications
The Clip-Disc is ideal for replacing fixed or rotating spray balls or other rotating units where a quick aggressive wash is required. The high energy, high impact droplets provide very effective impingement up to two and a half metres depending on the size of the unit chosen, which means that a single unit can clean vessels up to five metres in diameter. Simple in design, effective in performance, they meet all the essential FDA, USDA and 3A material and design requirements. This makes the units highly suitable for the pharmaceutical, biotech, food, beverage and other hygiene conscious industries.
Operation
Wash fluid drives a simple rotating disc. The disc spins providing an instant and total coverage of all the internal surfaces of the vessel. All the wash fluid exits the unit over the disc creating powerful high energy droplets. The wash is fast and aggressive, delivering optimum performance in a short timescale. The units are also ideal for burst rinsing.

Chemidisc Technical Sheet
Versatile & Unique
The CHEMIDISC offers powerful low cost cleaning performance manufactured in chemical resistant materials for the pharmaceutical, chemical, nuclear, and food industries where FDA CFR21 compliance, and heightened standards of hygiene and performance are necessary. CHEMIDISC sprayheads are ideal for burst rinsing and can be placed into the tank at any angle.
Applications
The CHEMIDISC range is available in a wide variety of sizes and is designed for use in harsh chemical environments, as a Hastelloy alternative and in glass lined vessels. CHEMIDISCs constructed in carbon filled PTFE dissipate static electricity in potentially explosive atmospheres. Pure PTFE CFR21 compliant CHEMIDISCs are used in many pharmaceutical and other applications where the cleaning solution is corrosive to stainless steel. PEEK is available for nuclear and specialist applications. The CHEMIDISC cost effectiveness and reliability is specified by end users, OEMs and contract design companies.
Operation
CHEMIDISC has a unique ball bearing free design, meaning no shedding of metal bearing debris and no failure to rotate. CHEMIDISC has only one moving part, the rotating disc which rides friction free on a hydraulic bearing which instantly converts the wash fluid into a sphere of fast moving droplets, distributing the fluid in a complete and uniform manner. Total surface cover is achieved as fast moving, high power droplets simultaneously reach the entire surface of the tank, inlet pipe and overhead nozzles where contamination frequently occurs.

Torus Technical Sheet
Versatile & Unique
The Breconcherry Torus is ideally suited for applications where low flow and low pressure demands are critical. The ability to operate from pressures as low as 1 bar with flow rates as low as 15 litres per minute enables the Torus to clean many areas usually cleaned by manual means as well as replacing static sprayballs with a more dynamic wash. The Torus range offers a wide choice of models which can accommodate individual customer requirements for flow and pressure dynamics..
Applications
Ideally suited to low flow, low pressure application such as glove box / biohazard containment areas, the Torus is compact enough to be mounted inside pipe work to flush the pipe work, or used to replace standard spray balls / wash heads in larger vessels. Torus is manufactured from FDA-approved materials to give complete sanitary compliance for the pharmaceutical and food industries. ATEX exempt versions are also available.
Operation
Wash fluid is directed through the slots on the rotating disc, dispensing a spray of fast moving droplets giving total coverage. Ideal for burst rinsing as well as prolonged washing with instant, strong impact performance. The Torus is available in a 360° wash pattern.
Maintenance & Inspection
The low friction design requires minimal maintenance. No Spare parts are required. Technical assistance or repair facilities required can be obtained through the global Breconcherry distributor network. As with all mechanical devices, it is recommended that the unit be regularly inspected for correct operation.
Minimum Manhole/Flange Size
The minimum manhole/flange opening size required for unit insertion for the Torus 50 is 42mm and for the Torus 75 it is 52mm.

The Torus 100 has a very simple yet highly effective design. The unique design of the rotating disc of water provides instant and effective total coverage across the inside of the vessel. This action provides consistent repeatable cleaning. The single moving part provides a very low maintenance, very low cost of ownership and compact cleaning solution.
Applications
The Torus 100 is ideal for replacing fixed or rotating spray balls. The high energy, fast moving droplets provide very effective impingement up to two metres, meaning a single unit can clean vessels up to four metres in diameter. Compact in design, effective in performance, they meet all the essential FDA material requirements and are also available in ATEX exempt form. This makes the units highly suitable for the pharmaceutical, biotech, food, beverage and other hygiene conscious industries.
Operation
Wash fluid enters a drive chamber creating a disc of moving water. The wash fluid exits the unit through the small number of slots in the external disc. The specially designed pattern of slots ensures the high energy droplets use the minimum amount of wash fluid to deliver optimum performance.
Maintenance & Inspection
The low friction design requires minimal maintenance. Any spare parts, technical assistance or repair facilities required can be obtained through the global Breconcherry distributor network. As with all mechanical devices, it is recommended that the unit be regularly inspected for correct operation.
