Mixing Technology

Another use of some of the Breconcherry technology is for mixing and recirculation. Although this is a newly publicised application, some units such as the FURY and TURBO DISC have been used for over 15 years with great success in these applications. With new technology and new designs, even more efficient mixing devices have been devised. The TORUS 50, 75 & 100 units are very fast mixing heads, and their ultra hygienic design meets all regulatory requirements. This concept offers very quick, efficient recirculation and mixing with just a simple pump, mixing head and simple closed loop recirculation system. Additionally the units can be used to add in other products or ingredients and disperse them efficiently through the product. One example is the TURBO DISC . These have been used for many years to apply anti foam to process systems. The same units can then be used to self clean as part of the CIP cleaning in place cycle, and in some cases the fixed mixing head can also be used to clean the entire vessel.
